Aaron Dunda
Owner, Financial Advisor
I didn't take a straight path to financial planning. I grew up in El Paso, eventually moved to Boise, Idaho, and spent a decade as a Deputy Sheriff before starting two other businesses and finally finding my way to financial services. Each of those experiences taught me something different about working with people, solving problems under pressure, and showing up when it matters. Fourteen years into this work, I still draw on all of it.
Law enforcement gave me a particular perspective. You see people during some of the worst moments of their lives, and you learn quickly that listening matters more than talking. You also learn that people need someone who's actually available when they need help, not someone who's hard to reach when things get complicated. I've carried both of those lessons into how I run my practice today.
What keeps me invested in this work is the partnership aspect. I genuinely enjoy sitting down with someone who's concerned about whether they'll have enough to retire or whether they're making the right decisions with their money, and helping them see a clearer path forward. My greatest professional satisfaction comes from structuring plans that give clients real confidence about their long-term financial independence. That's not something you achieve in one meeting. It takes time, attention, and being there when questions come up.
I've been in Fort Worth for years now, and it's been a great fit. This city has a strong sense of community and good people, which matters to me. I'm involved in local outreach efforts because I believe in giving back to the community that's been good to my family and me. When I'm not working with clients, I'm usually spending time with my family or outdoors: hiking, fishing, hunting, or working on my archery and shooting skills. I love cooking outside, whether that's barbecuing or just sitting around a campfire. It's where I'm most comfortable.
